Property Assessment and Taxation System

 

  • Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC)
    MPAC assesses the value of all the properties in Ontario municipalities or in the jurisdiction of a school board with taxing authority. You will find information such as questions & answers about your property assessment notice, guide to property assessment in Ontario, resolving assessment concerns, and forms.
  • The Assessment Review Board
    The Assessment Review Board is an independent adjudicative tribunal whose main function is to hear complaints from people who believe that properties are incorrectly assessed or classified.
  • Municipal Online Property Tax Analysis (OPTA)
    Access to this site is restricted to Ontario municipalities. It contains a business application to help municipalities make decisions required under the new assessment and property tax system.
