Divorce Certificates

You can obtain a copy of your divorce certificate by contacting the court office where the divorce was granted. Visit the following link to find the address and telephone number of the appropriate court office.

If you do not know which court granted your divorce, you may contact the Central Divorce Registry in Ottawa.

Name Change

For information regarding changing your name, contact the Office of the Registrar General.

Don't forget to update your identification documents if you change your name.
