Non Residents If you live outside the province, but work in Ontario, the Ontario Health Premium will be deducted from your pay because payroll deductions are based on the province where you work, rather than where you live. When you file your income tax return, your total taxes deducted for the year (including the OHP) will be reconciled against your total tax payable for the year for the province where you live.
This also applies if you receive a pension from an Ontario company, but live outside of the province. |
