Director's Message
# 13;
Erin Kelly,
Director of Education
This is going to be an exciting school year.
It’s my first as the Director of Education of the Greater Essex County District School Board and I am privileged to lead an outstanding team. We have a great deal to look forward to.
The interests and well-being of students will continue to guide our actions and we remain committed to providing them with the instruction, support and motivation to be successful now and in the future.
From play-based learning in Kindergarten to the development of innovative programs that keep high school students engaged and enthusiastic we have opportunities and options for all our students. Together with families and our partners in the community, I hope we can celebrate their achievements and the power of public education.
We shall also multiply our efforts to encourage healthy, respectful relationships with one another, so all students can flourish regardless of how they look, worship or choose to express their feelings.
It is a great time for me….for us…to be involved in education.
