Saskatchewan producers have been able to become prominent suppliers of quality feed for both domestic and international markets. An example of this is seen in the alfalfa feed industry where Saskatchewan is an important producer and exporter of dehydrated alfalfa products to Japan and the U.S.A. The feed industry in

Saskatchewan had sales of $210 million in 2003.
