Saskatchewan's has plenty of clean water and air which are important factors in
growing quality greenhouse crops. Saskatchewan has 165 greenhouse operations with
an estimated area of production of approximately 35 acres, employing over 1,500
people.
In 2005, the total number of greenhouse sales was over $22 M.
