Saskatchewan is home to a number of sunflower marketing and processing companies delivering their products world-wide. Some of these products include high oleic sunflower oil, birdseed and of course, sunflower seeds.

In 2005, 30,000 acres were seeded to sunflower producing over 11,000 tonnes.
