Saskatchewan is currently one of the largest producers of coriander and caraway in the country. Since the mid 90's, a number of herbs have been successfully tested, including Echinacea, feverfew, chamomile, milk thistle and St. John's Wort.

The average yield of large seeded coriander in Saskatchewan is approximately 900 kg/ha. Caraway production in Saskatchewan has ranged from 4,000-8,000 ha from 1999-2005.
