Company Information

The Companies and Personal Property Security Branch (CPPSB) web pages provide you with access to information related to business name registration, incorporating a business or a not-for-profit organization, obtaining an extra-provincial licence or Ontario Corporation Number and maintaining your corporate record. Information is also available on searching a business name or corporation on the public record.

Information Sheets provide detailed information about selected topics (e.g. registering your business name in Ontario). A Notice to Clients provides information about new or changes to existing products, services, legislation and policies (e.g. availability of forms on the Internet). Forms that are related to a specific topic are also provided for your convenience (e.g. Articles of Incorporation).
