Other information (French page)

You are required to notify the SAAQ of your change of address. You may do so by:

  • Calling the SAAQ
  • Going to an SAAQ service outlet
  • Mailing a letter indicating your change of address and the required information. Make sure you sign the letter.
See "Other information" to make sure you have on hand everything you need before proceeding with your change of address request.

Note
When you notify the SAAQ of your new address, your driver’s licence will be updated to reflect the change, as will your vehicle’s registration certificate, if you are the sole owner. The change will also be made for any disabled parking permit you hold.

In the case of a vehicle under joint ownership or registered in the name of a business, the change of address must be done either by mail or at the counter of a licensing outlet.
