The Régie des rentes du Québec should be notified preferably one month before you move. You may do so by:

  • Using the Régie’s on-line services
  • Using the reverse side of the envelope in which your cheque was sent
  • Informing the Régie, by telephone or by mail, of:

    • The beneficiary’s name the old and new address
    • The beneficiary’s social insurance number or, in the case of a pension for a disabled person’s child or an orphan’s pension, the disabled or deceased parent’s social insurance number shown on the cheque.

Note
The procedure is the same for retirement pensions, the surviving spouse’s pension, the orphan’s pension, the death benefit, the disability pension and the pension for a disabled person’s child.
If you receive more than one of these amounts, be sure to say so if you phone to have your address changed.
