Proceeding to the Immigration-Québec office upon arrival at the airport

When you arrive at the airport, you will see that entry procedures are relatively fast and simple with your valid passport and immigration visa. Canadian authorities are responsible for customs inspection and granting permanent resident status. These procedures can be carried out at any Canadian border crossing.

Arrival at Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport in Montréal

If you arrive directly at Montréal’s Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport, and following customs inspection, proceed to the Immigration-Québec office located in the international arrivals lobby where you pick up your luggage. Representatives from Immigration-Québec will tell you how to access the main government services. If necessary, they will give you a copy of Learning about Québec: Guide for my successful integration as well as other documents containing additional information to facilitate your integration into Québec.
