Québec is a vast territory that consists of 17 administrative regions with specific attractions. We invite you to discover them by exploring the employment opportunities and the quality of life that they offer. To make an informed decision, take the time to consider the assets of several regions before choosing one to settle in.

Once in Québec, you can improve your knowledge of certain regions (quality of life, services offered to immigrants, socio-economic conditions and employment opportunities) by attending an information session in Montréal given by regional representatives.

To facilitate settling in

The ministère de l’Immigration et des Communautés culturelles has developed action plans with their regional partners and signed agreements with the conférences régionales des élus (CRE) and certain municipalities. The purpose of these action plans and agreements is to set up services to welcome newcomers and help them settle in Québec. Don’t hesitate to use these services as soon as you arrive! Contact the Immigration-Québec office covering your region of destination.
