Extending or renewing an employment contract with the same employer or changing employer

Do you want to extend or renew the employment contract of a temporary worker? Do you want to hire a temporary worker who is already in Québec? If so, you must obtain the necessary authorizations.

To do this, follow the general procedure or the specific procedure described in the section Obtain the necessary authorizations to hire a temporary worker that applies to your situation. If the temporary worker is a live-in caregiver, a separate procedure applies:
