Exemptions

Temporary workers are not required to obtain a Certificat d’acceptation du Québec (CAQ – Québec Acceptance Certificate) for temporary work if:

• their employment contract is for less than six days
• they are exempt from confirmation of the employment offer by Human Resources and Social Development Canada (HRSDC) and the Ministère de l’Immigration et des Communautés culturelles
• they are exempt from the requirement to hold a work permit issued by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC).
