Employer’s hiring application

The Gouvernement du Québec levies a fee of C$175 to review an offer of temporary work for a foreign worker submitted by an employer. No fees are levied in the case of applications for seasonal agricultural workers.

Application for a Québec Acceptance Certificate for Temporary Work

The fee levied by the Gouvernement du Québec for processing an Application for a Québec Acceptance Certificate for Temporary Work is C$175 per foreign worker. The payment must be sent at the same time as the application. These fees can be paid by the employer or the worker.

Method of payment

You can make your payment:

• in cash or with a debit card (but only by going in person to the Direction de la sélection des travailleurs in Montréal or the Immigration-Québec office serving your region
• by credit card (Visa or MasterCard), in which case you must fill out the form Payment by Credit Card
• by cheque (personal cheques must be certified), bank draft or other instrument, payable to the Ministre des Finances du Québec. Please print your name on the back of the certified cheque, bank draft or other instrument, as well as the name of the person on whose behalf you are making the payment, if applicable.
