Use public employment services

Emploi-Québec offers a network of public employment services: 150 local employment centres (CLE) are located in every region of Québec.

Each centre has a multiservice room where you can find information, publications and advertisements of all kinds: job openings, job fairs, upgrading courses, practical job search advice. In addition, various tools are available to you: photocopiers, faxes and telephones to contact employers; computers to prepare your cover letter and curriculum vitae as well as to search for jobs on job search sites, including Online Placement. This service gives you access to job offers from across Québec.

If necessary, a job assistance agent can meet you by appointment for an initial job assistance evaluation. Depending on your situation, the agent may also propose a personalized action plan that corresponds to your job market integration needs.

In addition, community organizations funded by Emploi-Québec can assist you in your social and occupational integration.
