Asking to have your selection interview in Montréal

You are entitled to have your selection interview in Montréal if you make an exploratory trip to Québec.

The interview is the same as those held outside of Québec and the same selection criteria apply.

If you are interested in this option, you must apply to the Québec Immigration office abroad (Hong Kong or Damascus) covering your country or to the Centre de services aux gens d’affaires (for all other countries) where you submitted your Application for a Québec Selection Certificate.

	PRACTICAL ADVICE
	It is advisable first to plan your exploratory trip, to notify the CSGA, and then to ask to have your interview in Montréal at that time, preferably at the end of your trip. If you apply in advance, the CSGA will be able to take the date of your trip into account in scheduling your interview.

	Although a business project is not one of the selection criteria for investor applicants, they may also have an interview in Montréal if they make an exploratory trip in order to go into business.
