Applying for a Certificat d’acceptation du Québec for studies

 

N.B.: By law, the Ministère de l’Immigration et des Communautés culturelles (MICC) cannot release information pertaining to you to anyone (including your parents, if you are 18 years of age or over) without your authorization.

To authorize an individual or an organization to obtain information regarding your Application for a CAQ for studies, or to designate a person to represent you, you must include with your application an Authorization (PDF, 44 Kb) for this individual or organization.

 

  • Send your complete file to the Service aux étudiants étrangers (foreign students service) in Montréal.

    If you have satisfied the prerequisites, a CAQ for studies will be issued in your name. The CAQ is valid for the duration of your program of study up to a maximum of 37 months.

Make sure you have enclosed all the required documents. If any documents are missing, you will be required to provide them, which will delay the processing of your application.
