Fees required

The Québec government charges a C$250 fee to review an undertaking application for the first person sponsored and C$100 for each additional person covered by the undertaking.

The fees can be paid by certified cheque, postal order or bank draft, made payable to the Minister of Finance, or by credit card. These fees are not refundable under any circumstances.

	USEFUL INFORMATION
	The Government of Canada also levies fees to process a sponsorship application, as well as to process applications for permanent residence and the right of permanent residence.

	PRACTICAL ADVICE
	To avoid processing delays, be sure to correctly complete the forms, and to include all required documentation as well as payment of the file processing fees.
