The employment contract describes the employer’s obligations to the
foreign worker. These include:
Providing decent living conditions by supplying meals and a private room
that is properly furnished, heated, ventilated, and equipped with a working
lock.
Providing a key to the residence.
Paying the salary at the agreed-upon frequency, as well as making the deductions
and paying the fees prescribed by law.
Facilitating access to French courses outside normal working hours.
When stated in the contract, paying transportation costs of the foreign worker
between her country of residence and the place of work (round-trip ticket).
