The SAAQ and Accessibility
The SAAQ offers services to the general public, regardless of the version of browser used, the speed of connection, screen resolution or limitations of the site visitor.
Pages of the site have been designed to:
- use at least XHTML 1.0 Transitional complying with the W3C standard.
- use a structured labelling and cascading style sheets for display purposes.
- display characters that can be adjusted to the print sizes preferred by the user.
- display colours in high contrasts.
- include a text equivalent for each image.
- explain the destination in the accompanying text to a link.
- refrain from using any keyboard shortcut, because of incompatible features of different browsers.
