It is my pleasure to welcome you to the site of the
Conseil de la justice administrative, an independent body which functions concern the administrative justice administration.
Administrative justice is in the heart of government activities and of the life of citizens. Quebecers can rely on numerous government institutions to determine their rights and obligations in conformity with the law and in agreement with equity and justice principles. Some of these institutions have the specific assignment to settle disputes between citizens and governmental authorities. Therefore, they must act as judicial tribunals, from a completely impartial standpoint.
The council is a privileged actor of administrative justice. Its interventions, especially those concerning the rules of conduct of administrative law judges, aim at sustaining public confidence.
