Help

You can access information about programs and services via the Services for Citizens portal in several different ways:

Portal headings

The portal is divided into subjects and themes. Go to the appropriate heading to find what you are looking for quickly, based on your situation or interests.

Search engine

If none of the portal headings appears to answer your needs, we suggest that you use the portal search engine, by clicking the Search button in the upper right corner of the screen. Enter the word or words that best describe your subject in the appropriate box and click the Search button. For the best results, be as specific as possible in your choice of words.

Document format

Some of the documents and forms available via the portal are in PDF (Acrobat) format. If you don't already have Adobe Reader, you can download it free of charge. For optimum results, you need version version 5.1 and higher.

Site map

The Site Map provides an overview of all of the portal pages (presented in the form of a table of contents).

Telephone help

System Requirements

The portal has been designed to meet the current standards for Internet development and accessibility. We recommend the use of a new-generation browser that is compatible with these standards:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer (5 or higher)
  • Mozilla (1 or higher)
  • Netscape (6.2.3 or higher)
  • Opera (7 or higher)

While all browsers can access the portal, screen displays may vary depending on the choice of browser. Certain functions may have to be deactivated on older browsers not designed to support more recent technologies.

Data security

Protective measures have been deployed in order to make sure that personal information entered in electronic forms accessed via the portal cannot be intercepted or read by third parties, remains confidential and is protected in accordance with the provisions of the Act respecting access to documents held by public bodies and the protection of personal information.
