This site contains information about the Competition Tribunal, related legislation, applications that have been filed, the full text of selected decisions issued by the Tribunal since November 29, 1990, and current and new activities.

The Tribunal hears and decides all applications filed under parts VII.1 and VIII of the Competition Act and any matters related thereto.

Part VII.1 deals with deceptive marketing practices.

Part VIII deals with restrictive trade practices including refusal to supply; consignment selling; exclusive dealing, tied selling and market restriction; abuse of dominant position; delivered pricing; foreign judgments and laws; foreign suppliers; specialization agreements; and mergers.
