Did you know that good communication between you and healthcare professionals is one of the keys to effective healthcare? When you consult them, you must give them all information relevant to your problem and make sure you fully understand what they tell you.
Since your doctor, pharmacist, nurse and other healthcare professionals do not live with you, they do not know everything about you. Help them help you.
When you meet with them, describe your health situation and include an updated list of your medication. Ask questions. Follow their recommendations.
