Accident Victim

Québec's public automobile insurance plan covers all resident road users.

Under the plan, Québec residents who sustain bodily injury in an accident, wherever it occurs, are compensated regardless of which party is to blame.

The no-fault plan, detailed in The Insurance Policy for All Quebecers, is funded through premiums collected as part of the fees for vehicle registration and driver licensing.
