The ministère des Relations internationales is the coordinator of a number of important missions and events in Québec and abroad, working in close partnership with other ministries and organizations. The ministère’s mandate in this respect is to:

• Publicize Québec;
   
• Promote Québec’s strengths and know-how;
   
• Emphasize Québec’s major achievements;
   
• Support the efforts of companies in the economic, cultural or any other fields, as they attempt to open up new markets;
   
• Widen the contact network of men and women, who are in a position to pass on messages, explain positions and promote achievements regarding Québec;
   
• Contribute to Québec’s expansion.
