First Ministerial Forum on Energy and the Environment
On the initiative of the Québec Premier, a group of regional energy and environment ministers and officials representing the Conference of New England Governors and Eastern Canadian Premiers is slated to meet in Québec City to discuss the energy and environmental challenges facing the North-East.
A variety of experts, associations, businesses and interest groups are also expected to attend. The resulting recommendations will be submitted to the 31st Conference of New England Governors and Eastern Canadian Premiers, which is scheduled for Prince Edward Island in June 2007.
