Our mission is to encourage educational and academic cooperation between Québec and the U.S.

The Academic Affairs Department promotes the study of Québec in American colleges and universities, as well as facilitates the development of exchange and other cooperative programs in higher education institutions on both sides of the border. Our offices also work to develop greater knowledge and understanding of Québec. We organize conferences and events and provide support to scholars and other professionals. We facilitate agreement ententes and exchanges between professors, scholars, policy-makers and students.

Québec has an extensive network of internationally recognized universities and colleges. Every year over 10,000 international students enroll in Québec's educational institutions. Most study at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

We invite professors and students to consult our section Study in Québec, which describes Québec's educational system  as well as provides information regarding admissions requirements, financial assistance programs for foreign students, and practical information on Québec.
