GeoSmart is a component of the $32 million SuperBuild funding program led by the Ministry of Natural Resources, established by the Province of Ontario. The Niagara community was successful in obtaining this funding for investment in community projects that use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to support local economic development, improve local government efficiency and increase access to Internet based land information.
