Erase the memory cache

The memory cache is a temporary memory where a computer locally stores the information that you have used during a session. When you later need that information, the computer takes it from the memory cache rather than downloading it from a Web site. The memory cache also makes it possible to display more rapidly the information that you use when visiting Web sites.

At the end of an on-line service session, the memory cache on your computer may contain personal information. To protect the confidentiality of such information, we recommend that you erase the memory cache after each session.

Your Web browser's help function will tell you how to erase the memory cache on your computer.
