Certificate for occasional trips
A Québec carrier that does not have an IFTA licence must obtain a certificate for occasional trips, from a certified agency, before each trip.
In Québec, the cost of the certificate is $0.15 per kilometre to be travelled (minimum amount payable: $75).
The certificate must be kept in the vehicle.
