Child assistance

  • If your spouse was receiving a child assistance payment or a supplement for handicapped children, payment stops. The Régie and the Canada Revenue Agency must be notified so that a new beneficiary can be identified.
  • If you have children under 18, the amount of the child assistance payment will be recalculated following the death of your spouse. To do so, you must notify the Canada Revenue Agency.
