The International Appalachian Trail (IAT) covers 644 km (400 mi.) in Québec, 275 km (171 mi.) in New Brunswick and 160 km (99 mi.) in Maine, totalling 1,079 km (670 mi.) between Cap-Gaspé in the Forillon National Park, and Mount Katahdin in Maine. In Québec, the IAT runs from Matapédia to Cap-Gaspé.
