The government recently tabled a working paper in the National Assembly that proposes a number of changes to the Québec Pension Plan intended to adapt the Plan to Québec's new realities. Minister of Employment, Social Solidarity and Family Welfare, Mr. Claude Béchard, has invited the public and interested groups to read the working paper and to present their comments on the proposed changes to the parliamentary committee that will conduct the public consultation.
