The Ministère des Transports du Québec
facilitates access to the Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle (Québec)/Champlain (New
York) border crossing by allowing only
the participants in the FAST/EXPRES
program, when traffic is congested, to
use the left lane for the last six kilometres
of Autoroute 15 South. Road signs
similar to the one shown here have
therefore been installed to remind FAST/EXPRES approved
truckers that they can benefit from this privilege to get to the
U.S. customs station more quickly, where a commercial
customs inspection booth is exclusively reserved for them.

the last six kilometers of Autoroute 15 South. To benefit from
the advantages of the FAST/EXPRES program, all of the
following conditions must be met: all shippers of all freight
contained in the truck, as well as the carrier, the driver and all
occupants must be approved under the C-TPAT/FAST/EXPRES
