		General Information Natural Resources Canada US Geological Survey Mount Baker The Province receives regular updates on any volcanic activity and continues monitoring for any possible impacts to B.C. Following most minor eruptions, steam and the impacts from ash fall are localized to the area around the mountain and any widespread threat is low. The Provincial Emergency Program, through its partner agencies, continues to monitor volcanic activity in B.C. and neighbouring areas.
