Employee Household Relocation
Employee Household Relocation Services administers the BC Public Service Agency policy relating to the movement of government employee household furniture and effects for new and existing employees who are members of the Bargaining Unit or are Schedule A, Category A, B and C, or Excluded Management employees.
Employee Household Relocation Services can also provide relocation services to government boards, agencies, commissions, Crown Corporations and public funded agencies..
Some of the Employee Household Relocation Services features include:
- A Pre negotiated tariff rate structure with the 5 major Canadian van lines; Atlas, United, Great Canadian, North American and Allied.
- Managing a register of over 65 approved moving firms for the provision of household moving services throughout the province.
- Administering a comprehensive service quality program; feedback is received from employees about the service they’ve received from the moving firm as well as Employee Household Relocation Services staff.
- Assisting employees with the resolution of any claims of loss or damage.
Employee Household Relocation Services manages the relocation of employee household goods anywhere within the province, across Canada or from any international location.
Working with the moving firm and the employee, Employee Household Relocation Services knowledgeable staff aims to make the employee’s move as stress free as possible. Our staff is available from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday to answer questions, provide advice and deal with any special circumstance relating to the move.
