You can order vital events records on the Internet, by FAX or by telephone using a VISA, MasterCard or American Express credit card. These include certificates and photocopies for birth, marriage, death and genealogy. 

Order on the Internet

You can order direct on the Internet using the VitalChek secure server for shipments within USA and Canada. International orders must be submitted directly to the British Columbia Vital Statistics Agency.

Order by FAX

You may download and print an application form. Complete the form, and please include the following information. 

• Credit card number
• Expiry date
• Regular or rush requests or processing

Order by Telephone

Call toll-free 1 888 876-1633 in British Columbia to order certificates by telephone. From outside of BC, call the toll line at 250 952-2557.

Regular Request

Regular processing costs $32.95 per certificate ($55.95 per photocopy or genealogical certificate) and includes a $5.95 VitalChek service fee. Delivery is by regular mail service.

Rush Request

Rush processing costs $65.95 per certificate and also includes a $5.95 VitalChek service fee. Delivery is by courier service anywhere in the world. Please note courier delivery cannot be made to a postal box. A rush request or order can only be made to a specific site address where a person can receive and sign for the package.
