Species at Risk Coordination Office (SaRCO)

Species at Risk

The Species at Risk Coordination Office (SaRCO) works with stakeholders, First Nations and all levels of government to address the recovery of broad ranging species at risk, including mountain caribou and spotted owl. In addition, SaRCO is tasked with collaborating across government to ensure B.C.’s approach to the management and, where appropriate, recovery of provincial species at risk is second to none.
