How do I download a reader?
You will need to download an RSS reader and install it on your computer. There are numerous news reader applications available for free download or for purchase on the Internet. You will find these Web resources useful as they list a number of news readers available for download:
How to view the news feed
Once you have an RSS reader installed, copy the B.C. Government news feed URL, launch your news aggregator or news reader application and paste the news feed URL into an "add new feed" window. Detailed instructions on how to add news feeds are included your news reader application.
What happens on my computer desktop when a news item is published?
If you have set up alerts on your news reader, an alert will appear on your toolbar.
