Clients seeking information or access
to new or existing land and water authorizations will
continue to be served by former LWBC offices until regional
Front Counter BC Centres are fully operational. Regionally,
Land and Water applications will eventually be handled
by Front Counter BC – Natural Resource Opportunity
Centres.
The current exception to the rule is in Kamloops where
Front Counter BC is already fully operational.
In the interim, former LWBC offices will serve as regional
delivery offices for the Ministries of Agriculture and
Lands, Environment, and Tourism, Sports and the Arts
staffed by Ministry employees. These offices are located
in: Nanaimo, Surrey, Cranbrook, Penticton, Williams
Lake, Prince George, Smithers and Fort St. John. For
clients, contact with the office will change very little.
In most cases, the same people will be answering the
phones and greeting clients in person. |
