PROVINCE LAUNCHES STRONGSTART EARLY LEARNING CENTRES

Education Minister Shirley Bond (right) was at Roy Stibbs elementary school in Coquitlam to launch B.C.’s first 16 StrongStart early learning centres. She was joined by (from left) principal Luigi DeMarzo, preschooler Faythe Walker, Minister of State for Childcare Linda Reid, preschooler Draden Ward, and Burquitlam MLA Harry Bloy. The Province will provide $1.4 million to fund this first phase of the StrongStart centre program.
