The centre, which represents 41 B.C. wineries, supports B.C. agro-tourism by providing information and selling a variety of wines to the 100,000 people who visit it each year. The Queen and the Premier admire the new stained-glass window that marks her 50th anniversary on the throne. The Golden Jubilee window is on the first floor of the legislature, opposite the Diamond Jubilee window that commemorates 60 years of Queen Victoria's reign. The Golden Jubilee window features the flora and fauna of B.C. There are unique depictions of the stellar jay, an eagle, grizzly bear, seal, salmon, moose, cougar and whale. Throughout the window, there are several small dogwoods, B.C.'s official flower, and numerous crowns.
