Dairy
B.C. dairy cows produce 572 million litres of milk each year.
That is close to a half-litre of milk a day for each person in the
province. Currently, there are approximately 640 licenced dairy farms in B.C.
Consumers can be sure they are getting high quality, safe and
nutritious dairy products. Because of the extensive testing and
quality checks unique to the dairy industry, milk that comes from
the cow to the store shelf is fresh, good tasting and wholesome.
Drinking fresh, clean milk depends on everyone.
