Food Safety and Quality
Unit
The Food Safety and Quality Unit provides leadership, information
and technical support in the area of food quality and safety. The
Unit supports industry, retailers, consumers and ministry staff,
through provision of information, resource materials, and services
to support; access to domestic and international markets; safe and
high quality agri-food products; environmentally, economically and
socially sustainable agri-food industries. The Unit also administers
the Agri-Food Choice and Quality Act.
