Food market
sales of trout, Arctic char and sturgeon totaled 146 tonnes worth $737 thousand.

U-catch-em (fee fishing) operations reported a harvest of 18 tonnes with a value to the farm of $217 thousand.
In 2003, BC's 69 private hatcheries generated $21 million in sales
of broodstock, eggs and juvenile Atlantics, chinook and coho. An
additional $220 thousand was generated by the sales for restocking
of sablefish and rainbow trout.
