Food Recall - A & K Canned Sausages May Contain Dangerous Bacteria
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and A & K Sausage are warning the public not to consume A & K Brand Canned Sausages described below because the products may be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum. Toxins produced by this bacteria may cause botulism, a life-threatening illness.

BCCDC Stay healthy - Make sure juice and cider is pasteurized Unpasteurized juices can become infected with harmful bacteria like E. coli and Salmonella. The Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Perry Kendall and the BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) are reminding the public to make sure juices are pasteurized after recent outbreaks of these diseases in Ontario and the United States.
