Gas Cost Allowance (GCA)
The GCA is a deduction
from gross natural gas royalties and taxes which is established
by order of the royalty administrator to offset capital and operating
costs associated with:
- processing the Crown's
share of gas at a producer-owned plant, and
- transporting the
Crown's share of residue gas in a producer-owned sales line.
